Drawing The Head: The Cube

Using the block method, you can draw a well proportional head in front and profile views. To draw the head in all positions possible use must use length, width and depth. Use the cube with the same division as on the front and profile views.

That's all.

Drawing the head : Front View

Portraiture offers infinite variety for an artist to create character. A block drawn in proportion 3 units wide x 4 units high, will give you the basic frame. Divide the height in two parts and the lower half again. The third line is drawn dividing the lower quarter in half. Remember these are guide lines. Each face is different

Drawing tips

Welcome back. Nice to have you read my blog. It's been quite a few days I don't make any post. Busy. Today, there's another tips for the kids in improving their drawing.

Understanding the perspective of circles will help when drawing more complex circular shapes. The circle is contained within a square that is then projected in perspective. To be drawn correctly, the front half of an ellipse, or "squashed circle", should always be drawn larger than the black half. Note also that the sides of ellipses are round and not pointed.

That's all.

stART tips

Hi Kids! Do you like drawing? Here's a tip for you.

THE ACCENTED LINE

To create a more lively drawing with your pencil, and to indicate the
3-dimensional character of your subject, vary the weight of the line
in various areas of your composition. This can be done to exerting
more pressure or try using a darker pencil.

1st tip

First tips, but not from me. Before that, 1 question I have to ask you. Do you believe in coincidence?
I don't believe it. In this world everything has been destined by Allah. Right after creating this blog, I just click the Next Blog tab and this blog (http://www.daves-inforama.com/fashion-style/) comes out with 5 tips. You can read it here:-

5 Tips for a Great Fashion Fit

Ladies, have you ever been in a department store dressing room and talked yourself into buying an outfit that looked great on someone else?

Face it. If it doesnt fit right in the dressing room, it wont fit well or look good when you wear it out in public. Here are five quick and easy tips to remember when buying clothes that look good and fit well on your body type.

Tip #1 Stick to a Color Theme

Wear the same color from head to toe. This will create the illusion of a long lean line. Neutral colors work best for this effect: black, brown, camel or cream. (Note: add a splash of color with a jacket or wrap)

Tip #2 Wear Your Correct Size

Dress in the size you are not the size you want to be. In spite of what you might believe, wearing clothes that are too tight or too big will make you look LARGER.

Tip #3 Be Aware of Flattering Fabrics

You want to wear fabrics that skim your curves instead of cling to them. Fabrics should drape your body and make you look good, not lumpy.

Tip #4 Best Pants to Wear

The most flattering pants to wear for all body types have a flat front, fall just below the navel (not hip huggers), and flare slightly at the bottom.

Tip #5 Best Skirt to Wear

The most flattering skirts to wear for all body types gets a perfect grade of A. The A-line skirt looks good on everybody and is great for hiding figure flaws.

Choose what fits and suitable for you.
